Rules -
1. List seven habits/quirks/facts about yourself.
2. Tag seven people to do the same.
3. Do not tag the person who tagged you.

1.  I’m slightly OCD’ish.  Not terribly… but certain things bother me.  I like numbers like 1, 3, 5, 10 and so on (because they are prime numbers or even numbers – but I don’t like all prime or even numbers… like 4 sucks because it seems odd).  Don’t ask… I can’t really explain it.  I like things to be even on both sides… it really bothers me if stuff isn’t, from making my blush perfect when doing my makeup to if I do something with one hand, I’ll usually do it with the other too (but not usually writing).  The weirdest thing tho is prolly if I spin in one direction, I have to spin back in the opposite direction the same number of times.  I’ve done it since I was little, so I try to avoid twirling or anything.  Which really sucks in dance classes (then and now).  It bothers me when we have dances in which we always turn one direction.  I want to turn back the other way so badly.

2.  I like to play World of Warcraft, but not all the time.  I think it’s funny to be one of the few girls that actually plays, because all the guys help you out and you get lots of free stuff in the game.  It’s nice (and makes it easy).

3.  If something touches me while I’m sleeping (like a brush of something), I will immediately wake up and turn on the lights, thinking it’s a spider.  Especially if it’s on a part of my body that isn’t covered up.  I just did this a few nights ago and Josh could have killed me.  I had to take all the covers off the bed even, but I swear to god that I could see it when it was on my arm.

4.  I trim the skin at the end of my fingers, right next to my fingernails on each side where it ridges up from the edge of the nail, off with fingernail clippers at least once a week.  My reasoning – I work so much in water and soaps that it’s just easier to do that than get lots of hangnails.  Though I’m the only person I know who does that.

5.  I am usually reading at least 5 books at a time.  Some of them I won’t finish for a couple of months because I have to be in the mood to read them, but I can go back and remember immediately where I left off, so it’s all good.  Example:  Right now I’m reading The Black Order, The Art of War, White Death, Twelve Sharp, A Surrender to the Moon, and a compilation of the first few books for Trigun manga.

6.  I pretty much never walk around barefoot, unless I’m swimming or in the shower.  I will always be wearing at least a pair of flip-flops, and I don’t even walk around my house barefoot.  I even step out of the shower into flip-flops.  I don’t like socks either (I don’t like how they feel on my feet).

7.  I have to write notes for everything, otherwise I forget, and even then, I usually forget.  I’m so scatterbrained about remembering stuff that I used to write my school assignments on my hand, and then forget to look at my hand.

I want to tag people… but lots of people just don’t have time to fill anything out, and I’m so sparsely on the net right now cause I’ve been so swamped, I prolly won’t get to read them.  But… feel free to take this for yourself, and hopefully I will catch it!

About number 1... I understand COMPLETELY!! I'm the same way, about the even on the body thing. If I slide my hand down my left arm, I HAVE to slide my hand down my right arm, and then often do it to both at the same time, so I'm completely even. I HAVE TO. It's almost OCD, because I feel weird, and unbalanced, and upset if I'm not balanced.

i totally get the unbalanced thing. i get really twitchy and shaz from it. omg... you should see me if i'm getting a back rub or an arm scratch or anything. i even count how long Josh does it on each side, and make sure it's even, otherwise it bothers me and i have to make it even. lmao.

No socks for Christmas, check. *nods* I don't like 'em, either, though I love bare feet. First thing in the house, the shoes come off. My house-I don't like going barefoot in other people's houses, even if *they* want me to-if feels rude. *They* don't know if my feet are clean!

Got a rotten memory, too. I write stuff down and put the paper in my pockets, then wash the paper when I do the laundry because I forget to check the pockets. :(

it's actually one thing i dislike about bellydancing... the bare feet. it's much easier that way, but i still don't like how it feels. we have an Olde English Faire every summer near where i live and we dance there, and we are out in the grass and dirt, and after a 3 minute dance i feel the urge to go wash my feet hardcore and lotionize them :-)

i never put anything in my pockets cause it will get washed for sure!

I wonder if they'd let you wear light sandals, at least-you know the kind that are just flat pieces of leather with the toe ring, or a basic flip flop done fancy? Unobtrusive and period enough, I'd think, because sandals are a very ancient style of shoe. Dancing in your bare feet on dirt and who knows what would be uncomfortable, even if you didn't mind it so much due to the OCD thingy. I'd be afraid of stepping on a sharp twig or a bee or something-done that, don't wanna do it again.

I was just roaming through my flist and saying hi to folks with whom I've not spoken in a while. So, hi! :)
