working on OOW

so... for some reason today (maybe the fact that i'm seeing the 5th movie in a few hours, and the next book is coming out in a week and a half), i felt like working on my novel length story, Outside Our World.  i've actually had the next chapter finished for.... over a year... but i wasn't happy with it, so i never posted it.  there were quite a few things i wanted to change in the previous chapters, from how the boys reacted to certain things, and to make details a bit clearer.  so i just spent most of the afternoon going back through the first 6 (posted) chapters and revamping them, though a couple of them i only changed little things.  i don't have time tonight to do chapter 7 (the unposted one), cause i gotta go take a nap so i'm rested for the movie, plus i have a REALLY long day of work tomorrow.  i'm thinking that this will help me get back into the groove of writing a bit though, which would be nice.  now that i've changed some of the things from my other chapters, i think it will be easier to make the chapter 7 changes and then go from there.  hopefully this week i will be sending this stuff off to my betas for them to redo, and make sure i didn't screw anything up too badly. 

so yeah... that's what i did today. i'm surprised i could concentrate, because i'm sooo friggen excited to see the movie!  it's pouring down rain here right now, lightning, thunder, and all, so i'm hoping that the line isn't soo incredibly long tonight when i get there that i have to wait outside.  that would blow.  we had to do that for PoTC3 and it wasn't fun. 

okay... time for a nap.
